Product features
The Sunny Tripower Hybrid X, with its integrated cloud‑based energy management system, serves as the central control unit for efficient, flexible and reliable energy supply in residential homes and small commercial installations. The devices are available in two sizes: 5–15 kVA and 20–30 kVA. Depending on the device size, 3 or 4 independent MPP trackers simplify system design, even for complex roof structures. In combination with the SMA Storage M battery, up to 37 kWh can be integrated with the smaller device and up to 49 kWh with the larger one. The integrated energy management system, together with the SMA Energy Maximizer, offers the ability to automatically and conveniently reduce energy costs. Self‑learning algorithms and forecast‑based control optimize the use of self‑generated solar power as well as grid consumption based on dynamic electricity tariffs. The optional SMA Backup ensures reliable power supply for the entire home in the event of a grid outage.
