Product features

As a multi-functional interface the SMA I/O module guarantees implementation of network system services.

If the wireless ripple-control receiver is connected directly to the inverter (and not to the Data Manager M), only one I/O interface is required per system. The grid management services can be forwarded to up to 11 additional SMA Core 1 inverters via Speedwire.

If the grid and system protection in accordance with VDE-AR-N-4105 (up to 135 kVA) is to be implemented using an external network monitor, one I/O interface per CORE1 is necessary.
