With the SMA EV Charger solar plant operators can “fill up” their electric vehicle intelligently and sustainably. No matter whether new or existing plant, the SMA EV Charger can be used flexibly and is compatible with all common electric vehicles thanks to the fixed type 2 charging cable. In combination with the Sunny Home Manager 2.0, users preferably charge their vehicles using solar power and especially fast when it matters. Operation is simply by rotary switch on the device or via the SMA Energy App. The boost function makes it possible to charge at twice the rate of conventional charging stations. Thanks to automatic switching between single- and three-phase charging operation, maximum use can be made of even low solar powers. The intelligent system always takes all consumers into account and avoids the house connection becoming overloaded.
The three-phase AC charging station from SMA has a charging power of 1.3 to 22 kW, blackout protection, boost function, automatic phase switchover, type 2 plug, incl. 5m charging cable and an integrated 6mA DC residual current circuit breaker.
