The hybrid inverter integrated in the LG ESS Home series has 3 MPP trackers and generates three-phase alternating current, which prevents unbalanced loads and is stored in a DC-coupled lithium-ion battery with a choice of either 7 or 10 kWh rated energy capacity.
Thanks to the flexible DC design and the possibility of cascading two batteries, systems with power storage capacities of 7–19.6 kWh can be put together.
The free app makes intelligent energy management simple, and thanks to two integrated chargers no external device is required for battery extension. LG ESS provides a 10-year guarantee for the Home series, which is also compatible with the LG air-water heat pump.
